Flowlet on Windows-ympäristössä apuohjelma, joka korvaa aiemman Java Runtime Environmentin (JRE). Näin ollen Flow 2020 toimii mm. Chrome- ja Firefox-selaimissa. Flowletin tehtävänä on pääsy työaseman levylle eli se hoitaa tiedostojen siirrot palvelimen ja työaseman välillä sekä Windows-sovellusten käynnistykset.

Flowlet's task is to access the local disc of your workstation. It works as a middleman between your workstation and the server. It controls file transfers and Windows program launches.

Hyväksy Flowletin avaus selaimesta
Sinun pitää hyväksyä Flowletin käynnistys selaimestasi. Tässä on siihen ohje Flowlet-tuettujen selainten osalta:
Jotta Firefox ei kyselisi jatkuvasti oheista Flowletin avauslupaa, valitse "Muista tämä valinta flowlet-linkeille" ja paina Avaa linkki -nappia.
Jotta Chrome ei kyselisi jatkuvasti oheista Flowletin avauslupaa, sinun pitää sallia Flowletin avaaminen Chromesta. Kun Flowletin asennusohjelma kysyy sitä, valitse Yes.
Asennus
Flow ehdottaa Flowletin asennusta, kun kirjaudut ensimmäisen kerran sisään Flow'hun.
Jos asennus kysyy Flowletin avaamisen sallimista Chromesta, valitse Yes.
Flowlet on nyt käynnissä ja näkyy tehtäväpalkissa.
Muodosta yhteys Flowletin ja palvelimen välille seuraavasti:
- päivitä Flow'n selain (F5) tai kirjaudu uudestaan sisään, jolloin esiin ponnahtaa Flowlet-ikkuna
- kirjoita salasanasi Flowletin Connections-välilehdelle
Kun yhteys on kunnossa, näet sen vihreänä palkkina Connections-välilehdellä. Voit aloittaa Flow'n käytön.
Allow Flowlet to open links
Flowlet needs a permission to open web link on the web browser. Follow the instructions below to give the permission on Chrome and Firefox.

To prevent Launch Application dialog popping up continously select ‘Remember my choice for flowlet links’ checkbox and press OK button to continue.

Give permission to Flowlet during the installation by selecting ‘Yes’. The permission prevents the Open URL dialog popping up continuously.

Installation
Flow recommends you to install Flowlet on the first login.
Select Install and run the installation.
Depending on your browser setting, installation program may ask permission for Flowlet to open links. Click Yes to give the permission.
Flowlet is now running and its icon shows on the task bar.
Connect Flowlet to the server as follows:
- Refresh the browser running Flow (press F5 button) or log on again. Flowlet window pops up.
- Fill the password field on the Connection sheet. Use your Flow password.
- Do not modify the default Workspace Folder value. Network drives (like OneDrive) are not recommended.
The successful connection is indicated with ‘Connected to Flow’ text with green backqround. Now you can close Flowlet window and start using Flow.
